Our Latest Statement
Both of the Konica Minolta; Kofu and Tatsuno factories, after successful completion of the risk assessments, have resumed toner production as planned. Konica Minolta have confirmed to us that the factories will remain operational throughout the Christmas period in order to make a positive impact into the backorders and they will continue to airfreight stock for speed.
We are now working with Konica Minolta to ensure that the product lines that are most affected by our clients are prioritised. Konica Minolta are unable to give us specific dates at this stage, however they have informed us that the first deliveries of toners are expected to be received middle of December. Apogee are implementing processes to ensure, on receipt of stock we are in the position to fulfil outstanding toner orders as effectively as possible. At this stage we will send out further communications with more detail.
We continue to offer support via our Outsourced Document Services where appropriate and suitable, in order for you to manage the usage of your current toner supplies. If you haven’t already requested to be set up for this service please contact us on the email: konicaminolta@apogeecorp.com . We will do everything possible to maintain your current costs, whilst this will exclude substrates and finishing.
Once again, Apogee would like to sincerely apologise for the concerns and impacts this is causing and we will continue to do everything possible to support you through this difficult period. Konica Minolta also expresses their apologies for the inconvenience caused and is rebuilding its capability for a stable toner supply through their business continuity plan in order to prevent toner from running out again.
